Just coming back into town to get my car serviced this afternoon at around 1.30pm driving along the A52 near a turning to Bottesford I glimpsed what I believe to be a dead Barn Owl on the side of the road.
The bird was on the side of the road heading west to Nottingham.
A very sad sight to see indeed 😦

Went back to the bird today and it was ringed, ring removed, bird moved from the side of the road and ring info off to the BTO, ta for help Spadge.
