Local patch.

Marston.

Been a bit more bird movement in the last few days with one or two familiar friends returning.Three shelducks yesterday (2m+f),but just a pair today.A second oyestercatcher has joined it’s mate that’s been here a week or so,he was flying around in demented fashoin but seems alot happier now.Twenty-one curlews were the most for a while.Grey wagtail still around along with several snipe and a couple of green sandpipers.Cetti’s and water rail seen or heard on every visit now.One or two of the surrounding fields have been scarified and should prove attractive to wheatears and wagtails shortly.David Morison had a raven fly over the other day.

The shelduck brings my patch yearlist to 78.
