A lapwing pair had two chicks.

A couple of marsh harriers showed well.

Lots of waders on the lagoon for the early evening high tide. Over 100 turnstones. c250 oystercatchers.

About 100 common terns at the high tide.

At the Witham mouth were a greenshank and a sandwich tern.

Lots of other waders, including grey plovers almost in breeding plumage. Is there a better looking wader?
