Man Orchids

I have been informed that we didn’t go far enough through the meadows at Muston the other day to find the field with the 10,000+ green-winged orchids. I must get back for another look before they all go over.

I had more luck today with the rare man orchids at Ancaster. I’m told they are the most northerly colony in Britain. A few early purples were to be found also.
