Waders at Freiston Shore

It’s that time of year, when lots of juvenile waders are starting to pass through or arriving to spend the winter in the wash. There’s something about juvy waders, most of them are sooo smart, pristine, neat and immaculate. Little stint and spotshank were amongst 22 species of wader seen at Freiston yesterday.

Also about…Marsh harrier, juv peregrine, wheatear, pink footed goose, 20 odd yellow wags.
