Quick update on Me and Ben’s Monday search. Highlights.
Firstly we headed for Seaview, Saltfleetby, where there were over 70 willow warblers. A pied fly, one of our target birds, was registered pretty quickly. It was hanging out with it’s cousin, a spotted fly. A marsh harrier put in an appearance. Several whitethroat, lesser whitethroats and blackcaps.
Down at Crook bank there were many small waders on the beach, we picked out 3 curlew sands and 2 little stints amongst them. Also an arctic tern. 6 yellow wags too. Distant arctic skua and 3 common scoter.
At Paradise pool, 3 more curlew sands and 2 kingfishers.

Manby; 8 ruff, 6 blackwits, garganey, 5 snipe, 2 water rail, kingfisher.
