Lots of great birds at Alkborough, Best of;
12 spoonbills, 3 wearing colour rings/flags, sure they’ve been reported by others.
25 spotted redshanks, most I’ve ever seen at once.
c150 avocet, 175 blackwit, 40 ruff, 4 snipe, 80 golden plover.
ruddy shelduck-on the mud at Whitton sands.
hobby chasing hirundine.
whinchat, male.
6 water rail,(3 juvs.).
marsh harrier, around a dozen seen, mostly over the Trent at Blacktoft.
tawny owl, calling at midday near carpark.
4 juv. turnstones, on Trent bank mud.

2 drake common scoters.
5 common sands.
4 dunlin.
